Liberal Republicans have forced many of us who call ourselves conservatives to ask; how will our agenda of lower taxes and traditional family values ever prevail in Maryland if we cannot even win over elected Republicans?

To solve this problem several concerned Republicans and I formed the Maryland Republican Assembly (MDRA). You can visit our website at www.md-ra.org. Our goal is to elect and support "Ronald Reagan" Republicans. We want to help elect Republicans who are pro-life, pro- traditional marriage, pro-gun, and opposed to big government and higher taxes.

We are a state charter of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA). The NFRA was founded to promote conservatism in the tradition of the founding fathers and to bring back Republicans who believe the Party has moved away from its core principles. Joining the MDRA sends a strong message to liberal Republicans in Maryland and lets them know our party is a conservative party which believes in Judeo-Christian values.
