"The Maryland Protection of Homes, Small Businesses, and Private Property Act." September 1, 2005. MTA has put together a working document--just that--a first draft of statutory eminent-domain reform for the Free State. Property-rights advocates will doubtless be able to refine and perfect our recommendation intended to jump-start the Maryland reform process.

MTA will vigorously support strong eminent-domain reform legislation, and will score all General Assembly members on their support of Maryland property rights.
