Demaris "Dee" Hodges, MTA President
Dee Hodges, president of the Maryland Taxpayers Association, is a mortgage banker and political activist. She has worked as a banker in California, Virginia, and Maryland. A graduate of the University of Illinois in History and Political Science, Hodges earned a Masters of Science in Finance from the University of Baltimore. She served for a year in Vietnam with the American National Red Cross. Married for 29 years to the late Mack Hodges, an engineer and consultant to the U.S. Marine Corps, she lives in Towson. She has two children - one a biology major at the University of Virginia and the other a physics major at Texas A&M University - and a married stepson at CNN in Atlanta.
