Susan Freis Falknor

Susan Freis Falknor, principal of Cormorant Communications, is a writer, editor, and trainer with expertise in the persuasive presentation of technical materials for non-technical audiences. She is the webmaster and a member of the board of the Maryland Taxpayers Association.

Drawing on her substantial experience in nonprofit think tanks (such as the Urban Institute and the American Enterprise Institute) and for-profit information companies, she researches and produces reports, op-eds, speeches, and Internet content. She edits policy and scholarly manuscripts to broaden their readability and designs and manages public relations campaigns.

Her editorial clients have included the Heritage Foundation, the Aspen Systems Corporation, American composer and music historian Libby Larsen, economist Paul London, the Center for Multicultural Human Services, the Asclepeion Center for Body Mind Therapy, Professional and Scientific Associates, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the U.S. Census Bureau, and Mathematica Policy Research.
